Brett Smith is a Professor of Disability and Physical Activity in the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Durham University – a world top 100 universities based in the UK. His research on disability, physical activity and sport are underpinned by theories, methods, and approaches from psychology, sociology, public health, and critical disability studies. It is also often co-produced and community-based. Brett has published over 100 journal articles, over 70 book chapters, and 7 books. He is an author of the 2019 UK Chief Medical Officers’ Physical Activity Guidelines report, and chair of the Disability and Physical Activity Expert Working Group. Brett is also the President of the International Society of Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise.
Parallel and Interactive Posters Session
Up to 10 posters mini sessions (five posters each) will be established according to the topic of the day and the content of the contributions. Every poster must be exposed to the audience in 5-6 min following 3-4 min for questions. All the posters sessions will be evaluated by members of the scientific committee. A coffee-break will be available prior to the beginning of the poster’s mini sessions.
